İstanbul, the largest city of Turkey, had nearly 60 percent of the cases, he had previously stated.   The number of patients in intensive care and on ventilators has also increased sicne yesterday's update.   The death toll, meanwhile, has risen to 4,825 with 18 fatalities in a day.
