Life loss increases to 5 thousand, 190 thousand new cases

	NEWS CENTER - Daily cases remain at the same level after an increase following the reopening in early June as total cases have exceeded 190,000.

	 

	Turkey's death from the novel coronavirus pandemic has exceeded 5,000 as the Health Ministry reported 27 deaths for the past 24 hours. This was the highest number of new deaths since May 29.

	 

	Total cases have also exceeded the 190,000 mark with 1,268 cases in a day. From low 900s in late May, daily cases in Turkey have increased after the reopening at the start of June.

	 

	The number of daily recoveries was slightly higher than new cases with 1,315 whereas the number of patients in intensive care units and on ventilators continued to increase.

	 

	With nearly 43,000 tests in a day, the number of total tests exceeded 3 million.
