Many Kurdish activists detained in police operations in Antep 2020-07-14 10:26:02   ANTEP - The police raided many homes in Antep, detained 33 political activists from Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP).    The police raided the homes of many Kurdish political activists and party administrators of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) in the morning in Turkey's southeastern province of Antep.   33 people including HDP Antep Provincial co-chair Musa Aydın, DBP Antep Provincial co-chair Mehmet Vural, 2 neighborhood heads (mukhtar) and 1 lawyer were detained during the police operation carried out within the scope of the investigation launched by the Antep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Some other district co-chairs of HDP are also learned to be among the detained.   Police broke some of the doors open during the raids. All activists detained have been taken to the Antep Police Headquarters.
