21 women including Journalist Güney referred to court 2020-07-17 13:56:13   DİYARBAKIR - 21 women, including journalist Ayşe Güney and TJA Spokesperson Ayşe Gökkan, who have been detained at the Diyarbakır Police Department for 4 days, were referred to the courthouse.   As part of the investigation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 23 women were detained on July 14, including Ayşe Güney, the Spokesperson for the Women Journalists Platform and Jinnews editor, and Ayşe Gökkan, the spokesperson for the Free Women's Movement (TJA). The number of detainees increased to 26 when 3 more women were taken into custody later in the day.
