The number of tests conducted in the last 24 hours has been announced as 92,301.   According to the figures announced till today, 6,061,930 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Turkey so far. While the total number of cases is 254,520, the death toll has reached 6,058.   While 735 patients are reportedly in critical condition, the rate of COVID-19 patients with pneumonia has been announced as 7.3 percent. The total number of recovered patients is 234,797.   Citing the Ministry of Health data, Health Minister Koca has also raised concerns that while the average of daily patients has been 1,245 in the last week, over 1,400 new cases were reported yesterday.   "Our number of daily tests, which was 41 thousand on August 3, is over 92 thousand. The number of our contact tracing teams has reached 9,344," Minister Koca has indicated further on Twitter.   Since originating in China last December, COVID-19 has claimed nearly 790,000 lives in 188 countries and regions. Over 22.49 million cases have been reported worldwide while over 14.37 million patients have recovered so far, according to figures compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
