Assault report of Şiban, thrown from helicopter: 'He fell from a height' 2020-09-17 15:09:14   VAN -  "Anonymous patient was brought due to falling from a height," said the assault report of one of the citizens, Servet Turgut, who turned out to be in intensive care 2 days after he was detained. Eyewitnesses had alleged that he "was thrown from the helicopter."   Treatment of Servet Turgut (55), father of 7 children, and Osman Şiban (50), father of 8 children continues in the Van District Training and Research Hospital. Both turned up at the Intensive Care Unit after being detained by the soldiers in the Çatak district of Van.    After the torture reported on the assault report of Şiban, the assault report of Turgut has been obtained. The report has a not that says 'Anonymous patient  was brought due to a fall from a height. Intubated patient'.  It is estimated that the "falling from height" information was given by the soldiers who brought 2 people to the hospital in an unconscious state.   WITNESS STATEMENTS   The phrase "falling from height" in question strengthens the claim of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van Deputy Murat Sarısaç made after listening to the witnesses, who states that he was thrown from a helicopter.   HDP's Sarısaç said: "The families told that Servet Turgut and Osman Şiban was detained by the soldiers and forced into a helicopter while they were working at the field. The families hadn't been able to find them for the next two days. Both turned up at the hospital 2 days after their detention and witnesses told that they saw one thrown out of the helicopter. Doesn't matter it is true or not, they were both detained and tortured while they were working at their field to a point that they are lying unconscious in an intensive care unit."
