Lawyer restriction on journalists detained in Van

	VAN-  After 4 journalists, including 2 of our reporters and 2 Jin News reporters, were detained in Van, a 24-hour lawyer restriction was imposed.

	 

	Houses of our 2 reporters and 2 Jinnews reporters were raided early this morning. Our reporters Adnan Bilen and Cemil Uğur, Jinnews reporters Şehriban Abi and Nazan Sala were detained during the raids.

	 

	Police opening the door of our office with a locksmith searched the place for hours while they did not allow our reporters to observe the search. Technical equipments were seized in the search. The grounds on the raid was also not revealed. The journalist taken into custody were taken to Provincial Security Directorate.

	 

	During the raid on Cemil Uğur's house, Journalist Uğur and his colleagues were laid on the floor. The Special Action Teams searched the house and told that they were detaining him with the order of the prosecutor's office. The video taken by his colleagues while being detained was deleted by the police. 

	 

	It was learned that a restriction on lawyers for the journalists were imposed for the next 24 hours.
