Hunger strike in prisons on its 20th day 2020-12-16 10:45:05   DİYARBAKIR - The indefinite- rotating hunger strike launched by prisoners against isolation continues on its 20th day.   The hunger strike launched by prisoners in prisons on November 27 demanding an end the isolation imposed on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues. The hunger strike taken over by the fourth group is on its 20th day. While prisoners and their families are calling for support and solidarity, the hunger strike action will be taken over by the fifth group tomorrow.   Hunger striking with the fourth group, Hüsnü Aşkan (32) in Tokat Type F Closed Prison, told his family on the phone that the fifth group will take over the hunger strike on December 17. Aşkan also told that some prisoners have contracted coronavirus but they are not being taken to the hospital, added that there are sick prisoners among those who have coronavirus.
