Police operation in Adana targets CHP 2020-12-19 13:36:04   ADANA - A "bribery operation" has been carried out against CHP's Adana Ceyhan Municipality, many people taken into custody.   Within the scope of the "bribery" investigation launched out by Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrant was issued for 23 people, including dismissed Republican People's Party (CHP) mayor Kadir Aydar.   Police raided the Ceyhan Municipality building and the homes of Aydar and other suspects. Many people were taken into custody for alleged "bribery".   23 PEOPLE DETAINED   The prosecutor issued warrants for the detention of 23 people. 23 people including Mayor Kadir Aydar, some contractors and municipality employees were taken into custody. Aydar was taken to the police headquarters after being checked in the Forensic Medicine Unit. It was learned that Aydar had surrendered himself at the police station.
