Prisoner died 3 years ago on trial for 'propaganda' 2020-12-23 11:42:47 MUŞ - The lawsuit filed against the seriously ill prisoner Celal Şeker, who lost his life in Diyarbakır D Type Prison, on the allegation of "propagandazing for an illegal organization"  turned out to be still open despite he has been dead for 3 years.   Şeker's mother recieved a text message saying that there is a hearing on 24/12/2020 at 09.55 in Muş 1st High Criminal Court' against Celal Şeker.    Celal's sister Hatice Şeker whom we spoke about the situation, said: "Pain and suffering have been our identity in this country. Our pain for my brother who was sent to his death openly, deepens everyday."    Underlining that her brother hadn't been released from prison despite having heart failure and the fact that he was on dialysis, Şeker said: "They called my brother who is dead for 3 years to court. This is ridicilous as well as it's tragic. Even his death wasn't recognized by the judicial authorities. Yes, my brother did not die. He lives in our hearts and minds. This is the most concrete example of how corrupted the system is.     MA / Müjdat Can
