Police raid on house that had a banner on window reads 'Boğaziçi under siege' 2021-02-04 10:08:48 İSTANBUL- A citizens house was raided by the police who hung a banner on their window in solidarity with the Boğaziçi University students that reads, "Boğaziçi under siege".   Ripping the banner from the window, the police made a report of the incident and left.   According to the news in Evrensel Newspaper, Dicle Aslan who made posters that read 'Boğaziçi under siege', 'We won't look down, we won't obey' with her children and hung them on their windows. Aslan who told that one of their neighbors had a quarrel with her about the posters and she told them that they will stand with the students.   Stating that 4 police officers came to their house while she was not at home, Aslan said: "I went straight back home when they called me. I intervened when they tried to make my sisters, who are both university students, sign their reports and told them that they are guests in my house but they didn't accept it. They ripped the posters from the windows and left."
