Rectors appointed to 11 other universities amid protests against Bulu 2021-02-06 09:41:13   İSTANBUL- Amid protests against the appointment of Melih Bulu as a rector to Boğaziçi University, rectors were appointed to 11 other Universities by Erdoğan.   While the protests continues against the appointment of Melih Bulu to Boğaziçi University by AKP's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Erdoğan appointed 11 more rectors to various universities.   According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, Prof. Dr. Abdulhalik Karabulut was appointed as a rector for Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Biber was appointed as a rector for Ardahan University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sıtkı Bilgin was appointed as a rector for Artvin Çoruh University, Prof. Dr. İdris Demir was appointed as a rector for Batman University, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Elmastaş was appointed as a rector for Bitlis Eren University,  Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Zeybek was appointed as a rector for Gümüşhane University, Prof. Dr. Ömer Pakiş was appointed as a rector for Hakkari University, Prof. Dr. Namık Ak was appointed as a rector for Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, Prof. Dr. Bülent Şengörür was appointed as a rector for Kırklareli University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Doğan Karacoşkun was appointed as a rector for Kilis December 7 University, and Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun was appointed as a rector for Osmaniye Korkut Ata University.
