Akbaşlı who was to be released today, allegedly attempted suicide

	VAN - It was claimed that prisoner Ramazan Akbaşlı in Van F Type Closed Prison tried to commit suicide.

	It was claimed that Ramazan Akbaşlı, who has been held in Van F-Type Closed Prison on the allegation of "being a member of a terrorist organization" since 19 November 2020, has tried to commit suicide on Monday. It was learned that Akbaşlı, who was taken to Van Dursun Odabaşı Hospital, is currently in the intensive care unit. His conditions is said to be serious.

	 

	The relatives of Akbaşlı said that the police told them that Akbaşlı had tried to commit suicide and he was on life support and that there was a confidentiality order imposed on the investigation opened into the incident.

	 

	It was also learned that a release order was issued for Akbaşlı today.
