Attorney Duran: Law enforcement was assigned to acquit the Yıldız family

	ANTEP - Bülent Duran, one of the attorneys of the Şenyaşar family, said that many bullets were reflected as they belonged to Fadıl Şenyaşar in the case of the Şenyaşar family, and the ballistic examinations of the guns were not done, and that law enforcement officers were assigned to acquit the Yıldız family.

	 

	Celal and Adil Şenyaşar were seriously injured and hospitalized as a result of the incidents that occurred during the visit of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız to the workplace belonging to Şenyaşar family in 2018 before the general elections, while Mehmet, Fadıl and Ferit Şenyaşar were mildly injured. Mehmet Şah Yıldız from Yıldız family also lost his life. Many members of the Yıldız and Şimşek families attacked Celal and Adil Şenyaşar once again in the hospital, who was seriously injured in their workplace. As a result of the attack, Celal and Adil Şenyaşar lost their lives, while the father Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar, who went to the hospital to visit his children, was lynched and killed in front of his wife Emine Şenyaşar. Fadıl Şenyaşar was arrested and sent to prison before he was even discharged from the hospital.

	 

	FADIL ŞENYAŞAR WAS SENTENCED TO  37 YEARS

	 

	The investigation into the Şenyaşar case has been carried out under "confidentiality" since 2018. The case, which lasted for about three years, was concluded on April 2. The court board sentenced Fadıl Şenyaşar to 37 years and nine months in prison, and Enver Yıldız, who was seen to shoot Adil Şenyaşar in the camera footage, was sentenced to 18 years. The investigation into what happened in the hospital is still not turned into a lawsuit, and the file continues to be "confidential".

	 

	Bülent Duran, a member of the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD), one of the family's attorneys, sketched the workplace where the incident took place and examined all aspects of the incident. Duran spoke to our agency about the case and the investigations he made.

	Duran emphasized that when looking at the distribution in the sketch, it is impossible for the bullets left on Fadıl Şenyaşar to belong to Fadıl Şenyaşar in that position.

	 

	'ILLEGALLY OBTAINED DATA'

	 

	Reminding that there is information about the police firing nine out of 17 bullets in the report in the first investigations of the crime scene, Duran said, “We don't know how and where the police officers fired their guns. There is no clear footage of this. Fadıl Şenyaşar fires only three shots. At the point where he fired, his brother Ferit Şenyaşar was beaten by Kenan and Süleyman Yıldız. Abdurrahman Yıldız and Mustafa Yıldız are also standing in front of them. He fired three bullets in such a point. The decision includes Fadıl Şenyaşar, murdering Mehmet Şah Yıldız, and injuring Abdurrahman, Kenan, Süleyman, Nihat and Mustafa Yıldız. Two of the defendants were sentenced for attempting to kill. There is an allegation that Fadıl fired at his arm. These data are obtained illegally to punish Fadıl Şenyaşar."

	 

	POLICE ASSIGNED TO ACQUIT THE YILDIZ FAMILY

	 

	Expressing that the court wanted to finalize the file as soon as possible, Duran said, “The court decided to close the case quickly and gave this sentence to Fadıl Şenyaşar. This penalty is unacceptable. Duran continued, "While there were more than one witnesses in the investigation, the fact that no one from the Yıldız Family was detained for three years shows us how the power of government is being used." Stating that the Yıldız family was acquitted even though it was brutality, Duran said, "It is clear that law enforcement officers are assigned to acquit Yıldız family."
