
Date on which the İstanbul Convention to expire published in Official Gazette

	NEWS CENTER - The decision regarding the expiration date of the Istanbul Convention was published in the Official Gazette.

	&nbsp;

	The decision that the "Council of Europe Convention on Prevention and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence", known as the Istanbul Convention, will end for Turkey was published in the Official Gazette.

	&nbsp;

	According to the decision published with the signature of AKP's President Tayyip Erdoğan, the expiration date of the Convention, which was terminated for the Republic of Turkey with the President's Decision on March 19, 2021, was set as July 1, 2021.

	&nbsp;

	The aforementioned decision was made in accordance with Article 3 of Presidential Decree No. 9.&nbsp;
