
Police raid on Van MEBYA- DER: Co-chair detained

	VAN - Scores of people including the Co-Chair or Van MEBYA-DER, Gülistan Önver are detained.

	&nbsp;

	Police raided the Association for Solidarity with Families Who Lost Their Relatives in the Cradle of Civilizations (MEBYA-DER) office early this morning in Van, along with the house of Gülistan Önver, the Co-Chair of the association, into custody. It was stated that those detained are accused of 'being a member of a terrorist organization'.

	&nbsp;

	The books in Önver's house were confiscated. Following a two hour search, the police took Önver and brought her to Van MEBYA- DER building to search the place.

	&nbsp;

	It was stated that along with Önver, two more people were detained and brought to Van Provincial Security Directorate. It was also stated that they will at least be under costody for 4 days and a lawyer restriction was imposed.

	&nbsp;

	It was stated that more people might be detained in scope of the same investigation.&nbsp;
