Van Co-mayor Avcı detained

	VAN - Van Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Mustafa Avcı who was dismissed from office and replaced by a trustee was detained with a raid on his home. Avcı is expected to be taken to Kocaeli within the scope of the investigation.

	 

	Van Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Mustafa Avcı who was dismissed from office by the Ministry of Interior on August 19, 2019 was detained. Avcı's home was raided by the police early this morning, and was taken to Anti-terror unit. It was stated that Avcı was detained in scope of an investigation run by Kocaeli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and was taken to Kocaeli in this regard.
