Son of Laçin brought to HDP in provocation: He subjected us to violence for years 2021-09-22 10:49:21   DİYARBAKIR - Stating that they were subjected to violence by their father Mehmet Laçin who was brought to HDP Headquarters in provocation, his son Özer Laçin said: "His aim is not to find her daughter or something, he is there because my mother left him."   Dozens of people are brought to Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) buildings by the government, claiming that their children were abducted and taken to the mountains by the PKK since September 2019. Directed by the Ministry of Interior and the police, Mehmet Laçin began to sit in front of the HDP Diyarbakır Provincial Organization in early 2020. After a while, Laçin went to İzmir and set up a tent in front of the party building here. During this time, Laçin's name came to the fore with the murder of party employee Deniz Poyraz. Party officials, in their statements, said that he was the look out for Onur Gencer, who killed Poyraz in the building.   WE GOT IN TOUCH WITH LAÇİN'S SON   Laçin was brought to Ankara from İzmir on September 16 to set a tent in front of HDP HQ. However, the MPs inside the building did not allow him to do that, saying the killer of Poyraz can not be brought in front of the HDP. Laçin made a statement there and reiterated that her daughter was abducted in İstanbul and brought to the mountains by the PKK. While Laçin's daughter refuted this claim with an interview published in Fırat News Agency (ANF), we got in touch with another child of Laçin, Özer Laçin.   LAÇİN TOLD US ABOUT THE SYSTEMATIC VIOLENCE   Laçin, 26, who lives with his mother, told that he was exposed to violence for years by his father who traveled from city to city and target HDP supporters. Laçin said, "We have been subjected to torture and abuse by my father since I was 4 years old," and that they are three siblings and that his father was married twice. Stating that he left his father about 12 years ago due to the violence his mother was subjected to, Laçin said that his mother and sister went to Kocaeli from İzmir. Expressing that he also moved to Kocaeli a year after this separation, Laçin stated that he has not had any contact with his father for 6-7 years.   'HE WASN'T A GOOD FATHER. HE WASN'T A FATHER AT ALL'     Stating that him, his mother and sister were subjected to violence by his father for years, Laçin said: "We tried to endure it. We persevered. We tried not to destroy our family. We hoped things might get better. But the fights continued to end in blood shed. So we went to Kocaeli. We left him 12-13 years ago. He wasn't a good father. He wasn't a father at all. He was hostile against us. We decided not to let him in our lives. "   HE TRIED TO SMEAR MY MOTHER   Stating that hair did not grow on a part of his head for a long time due to the torture he was exposed to and that he had been treated for a year, Laçin said, "It was getting so serious that I had to call the police every 2 days because he was killing my mother." Laçin stated that his father wanted to contact him from time to time after the separation, but he did not accept this, and said, “He didn't want to see me because he missed me. There are loads of messages sent by him, slandering my mother, trying to smear her. This is how he communicates. I do not accept this. He once asked me to smear my mother with him. He asked me to testify about his confessions about my mother. I didn't accept that either. This is disgusting."   'HIS AIM IS NOT TO FIND HER DAUGHTER'   Stating that his father is trying to smear his mother because she left him, Laçin spoke about his father coming in front of the HDP, "His aim is not to find his daughter. A father who loved his children would not do what he did, would not torture his children, would not harass them. If he cared about my sister (who joined the PKK), he wouldn't do any of this. He is lying about loving and missing my sister. He is a lapdog. His only problem is that my mother left him. He can't get it over with. Watch the statements he made. It's not about my sister. He is slandering my mother and her brother. He tried to contact me the last time he came to Diyarbakır. I didn't pick up the phone. He would use it with the thing he does in front of the HDP. That's why I didn't pick up."   MA / Gökhan Altay - Özgür Paksoy
