
Parliamentary immunity of HDP's Semra Güzel removed

	ANKARA – Parliamentary immunity of HDP Diyarbakır MP Semra Güzel was removed on two different summeries.

	&nbsp;

	The decision taken at the Joint Commission to lift the immunity of &nbsp;Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Deputy Semra Güzel was discussed at the General Assembly of the Assembly.

	&nbsp;

	HDP Co-Chairs Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar attended the General Assembly. HDP Group Deputy Chairperson Saruhan Oluç's defense lasted for 3 hours. Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Saliha Aydeniz also took part in the General Assembly.

	The legislative immunity of Semra Güzel was lifted with 313 votes acclamations and 52 dissentive votes.

	&nbsp;

	HDP GROUP LEFT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	HDP Group left the general assembly in protest after the decision. Following the removal of the parliamentary immunity of Güzel, the file will be sent to the Ministry of Justice which will be sent to the Prosecutor's Office and then the judicial process agaisnt Güzel will begin.
