Spirit of Alliance in Diyarbakır Newroz: We will fight for freedom 2022-03-21 16:20:41   DİYARBAKIR - Speaking at the Newroz Celebrations in Diyarbakır reborn with the Newroz fire, DBP Co-chair Saliha Aydeniz said. "We will ensure the freedom of Mr. Öcalan and all political prisoners."   The most glorious Newroz celebration held with the slogan “Dem dema serkeftinê ye” (Now is the time to win), was held in the Newroz Park of Diyarbakır. Hundreds of thousands of people who gathered around the Newroz fire with their colourful local dresses, demanded freedom for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.   The joy of Newroz multiplied with Elenora taking the stage. DTK Co-Chair Berdan Öztürk, DBP Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz, HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan, KKP Chairman Sinan Çiftyürek, Azadî Party Chairman Ayetullah Aşiti, KDP-Bakur Chair Sertaç Bucak, PİA Deputy Chair Ahmet Kaya, Nesrin Askar from DDKD greeted the people.   FIGHT FOR THE FREEDOM OF ÖCALAN   Speaking on behlaf of Kurdistani Alliance Group, DBP Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz underlined that they continue their work for Kurdish union, said: "Kurdish language is face to face with bans. As the Kurdistani Alliance we will continue our struggle until Kurdish is an official language in Turkey. Turkey has been establish on the basis of one language, one flag. We will fight for the freedom of Kurdistan and democracy in Turkey as the Kurdistani alliance. The oppression and torture in prisons is sky rocketing. We will ensure the freedom of Mr. Öcalan and all political prisoners.   KURDISH LANGUAGE CAN NOT BE BANNED   Azadi Party Chair Ayetullah Aşiti celebrated the Newroz of the Kurdish people on behalf of the Kurdistani Alliance. Aşiti said: "O people, Allah is with those who live and resist. We have to resist to be able to celebrate Newroz. Newroz resistance what keeps people alive. Those who ban Kurdish, those who prevent Kurdish from being an official language are hurting the divine faith. No one can ban the language of a Kurdish child born by a Kurdish mother. We must be able to live freely in our lands like everybody else does. Are you ready for Kurdish unity?"
