Ferit Şenyaşar: We don't want half measure justice

	URFA -  Continuing the Justice Watch, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "We don't want half measure justice. 4 people were arrested 4 years after the massacre. There is still a confidentiality order on the file. We continue the sit-in because our demands are not met."

	 

	The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 443. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.

	 

	Stating that they continued the sit-in in İstanbul together with her mother Emine Şenyaşar, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "İstanbul Medical Chamber awarded my mother with Peace and Democracy Award. That doesn't make my mother smile. People are inviting us to conferences in different cities. We can't attend all of them due to my mother's health issues. Our sit-in continues at the Urfa Courthouse. We meet with people following our case and they all say they support us in our cause."

	 

	CONFIDENTIALITY ORDER ON THE FILE CONTINUES

	 

	Reminding that her mother is ill, Şenyaşar said: "It's been more than a year since we started the sit-in here. Everyone knows what have been done to us. It is also mentioned in the parliament. We don't want half measure justice. 4 people were arrested 4 years after the massacre. There is still a confidentiality order on the file. We continue the sit-in because our demands are not met."

	 

	The family shared the following on their Twitter account: "ur struggle for law and justice continues in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse on the 443th day, in the face of the power that makes the judiciary dysfunctional by relying on its temporary authority."
