
Basın-İş Union visits DFG and JINNEWS in solidarity

	DİYARBAKIR - Journalists who are members of Basın-İş union paid a visit to the DFG and JINNEWS in solidarity, following the raid and arrest of its members and workers.

	&nbsp;

	DİSK/Basın-İş member journalists, who came to Diyarbakır from Istanbul and Ankara in solidarity with the imprisoned journalists, visited the Dicle Fırat Journalists' Association (DFG) and the office of JINNEWS in Yenişehir which was raided by the police in the operation against journalists on June 8. DFG Co-chair Dicle Müftüoğlu and Mesopotamia Women Journalists Platform (MKGP) Spokesperson Roza Metina welcomed the journalists.

	During their visit to DFG and JINNEWS, the journalists pointed out the importance of joint struggle against attacks on the press and stated that they would be in solidarity with journalists.
