Free Women's Movement (Tevgera JinĂȘn Azad-TJA), Van Peace Mothers' Council, Van Families of Prisoners and Assistance Association (TUAY-DER) supported the families who came together in front of the Van Courthouse this week for the demonstration.   The crowd, who wanted to come to the courthouse and make a statement, was blocked by the police. Van TUAY-DER Co-Chair Edibe Babur, who condemned the police obstacle, said that the blocking was unlawful and that the demands of the families should be met. In response to Babur's condemnation, the police chief told the families to go to the People's Democratic Party (HDP) rally to be held in Musa Anter Park today and mention their demands there.   Journalists following the sit-in were subjected to General Information Scan (GBT), prevented from taking images and removed from the area.   The sit-in came to an end after a period of tension between the families and the police.
