Releasing for stage 4 cancer ill prisoner 2022-09-03 12:16:34   ANKARA - Stage 4 cancer ill prisoner Ehettin Kaynar, who was transferred from Karabük Prison to Ankara, was released late last night.   Ehettin Kaynar(73) who was transferred from Karabük Type T Closed Prison to Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital on July 27 and kept under treatment at Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital for more than two weeks, was released late last night.   Kaynar, who had a cyst of 12*16 cm in the right lobe of the liver, was found to be a 4th stage cancer patient according to both the pathology and radiology report, and the disease had spread to distant metastases, that is, to distant organs from the liver.   Kaynar, who was treated under the supervision of 5 guards in the Gastroenterology Department of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital, was later transferred to the hospital in the Sincan Prison Campus. The Sincan Prison No. 2 administration sent the reports from the hospital to the ATK and asked for a report on whether he could be held in prison or not. A report was also sent to ATK stating that Kaynar, whose transfer to ATK was requested, was too serious to go to Istanbul.   Late last night, her daughter was informed that Kaynar was released after his procedures in prison.   BACKGROUND   Kaynar, who was arrested in 2015 on the grounds that he was a member of the "Justice Commission" of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in Iğdır, was released in 2017. Kaynar, who has cancer at the age of 73, was re-arrested in April 2021 due to the life sentence given to him and sent to Edirne Type F Closed Prison. Kaynar, who was not discharged despite many serious diseases such as atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, prostate, osteoporosis, rheumatism, skin disease and diabetes, is also a 4th stage cancer patient. The lawyers of Kaynar applied for his release to the court where he was tried because the life imprisonment sentence given by the Iğdır local court was overturned by the Supreme Court of Appeals.
