Crawler diggers sent to conflict zone in Omeriya 2022-09-07 12:13:10   MARDİN - It was learned that while the clashes that started after the Omeriya Region was bombed with fighter jets, crawler diggers were sent to the region.   While the military operation started on September 4 in Mardin's Omerîya (Ömeryan) Region, the region was bombed with Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) fighter jets on September 5. Following the air strike, an operation was started with the participation of special operations teams and guards in the region accompanied by helicopters. The clashes between the soldiers and HPG members during the operation that continued in the region since September 5 continues for 2 days.   While it was stated that 5 people, including 4 special operations personnel and 1 village guard were injured in the clashes that took place yesterday, it was learned that the clashes continue in the rural area of the Bezekê Neighborhood of Nusaybin.   ENTRY TO THE AREA IS NOT ALLOWED   Helicopter activity continues in the region, where gunshots and explosions continue. It has been learned that entrances and exits to the region are not allowed, and the public transport is not working due to the ban.   A CRAWL DIGGER WAS SENT TO THE CONFLICT ZONE   On the other hand, according to the information received from local sources; a crawler digger was sent to the region. It was stated that the digger was sent to the countryside and excavations were carried out around a cave.
