Şenyaşar family: Exposing a crime has become a crime 2022-10-05 11:54:54   URFA - Continuing their struggle for justice without interruption, Şenyaşar family said: "Exposing a crime has become a crime. I am sitting in the dock."   The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 576. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. While Emine Şenyaşar had to remain home due to health issues, Ferit Şenyaşar arrived at the courthouse early in the morning.   Ferit Şenyaşar started the sit-in in the area called "Şenyaşar family justice corner" and hung a banner written, "Justice for the Şenyaşar family, justice for all" on the concrete blocks.   The family shared a photo of Emine Şenyaşar taken while she was on trial for 'insulting' Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu and AKP's İbrahim Halil Yıldız and wrote: "Demand 1: I want fair trial for my son who is being held in a cell alone for 4 years. Demand 2: I want the surveillence video recordings of the hospital during the massacre. Result: Wanting to expose a crime has become a crime. I am sittin in the dock."
