'Nagihan Akarsel fought for women's freedom' 2022-10-05 11:55:30   NEWS CENTER - Stating that Nagihan Akarsel has been fighting for women's freedom all her life, United Kurdish Women's Platform made a statement and said, "How many more Kurdish women will be murdered?"    In a written statement, the United Kurdish Women's Platform condemned the murder of academician Nagihan Akarsel, a member of Jineology Research Center and editor of Jineology magazine. Emphasizing that Akarsel had struggled for women's freedom and the freedom of the Kurds throughout her life, the statement said: "In recent years, Kurdish women have been massacred by despiclable attacks all over Kurdistan. Shortly after the murder of Jîna Mahsa Amini, Nagihan Akarsel was brutally murdered in the middle of Slemani.   In the statement of the United Kurdish Women's Platform, the following was noted: "As the United Kurdish Women's Platform, we take this massacre seriously and ask: How many more Kurdish women will be massacred by the systematic attacks of the rulers. We also call on the Southern Kurdistan government: The murderers should be caught and brought to the court of justice as soon as possible.”
