Emine Şenyaşar condemns the fact that Yıldız from the AKP was not included in the indictment. 2022-10-17 13:50:42   URFA - Condemning the fact that Yıldız was not included as a suspect or witness in the indictment of the "hospital" file, Emine Şenyaşar said: "There was İbrahim Halil Yıldız from AKP in the workplace and hospital where my children were attacked."   The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 588. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and her son came in front of the Urfa Courthouse early in the morning and started the sit-in by hanging a banner with the inscription "Justice for the Şenyaşar family" on the concrete barriers. Holding the A4 paper with the inscription "Justice" in their hands, Emine Şenyaşar and her son, who are on sit-in, give information to the lawyers and citizens who are on their way to the courthouse, about the massacre they have been subjected to and the ongoing struggle for justice.   The case files regarding the massacre that the Şenyaşar family was subjected to were divided into two as “workplace” and “hospital”, even though it was the same day. Fadıl Şenyaşar was sentenced to 37 years and 9 months and Enver Yıldız was sentenced to 18 years in prison in the workplace-related trials. While the decision made by the Malatya 3rd High Criminal Court on April 2, 2021 was at the stage of appeal, the indictment was prepared by removing the confidentiality decision regarding the "hospital" file as a result of the investigation that continued for 4 years and 4 months. Prison sentences were demanded for 19 defendants for killing Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and Adil Şenyaşar and for wounding Ferit Şenyaşar and Mehmet Şenyaşar while they were at the hospital.   'MY SON SHOULD BE RELEASED'   Continuing the sit-in in front of the Urfa Courthouse without interruption and evaluating the indictment and the ongoing sit-in,  Emine Şenyaşar said: "The request for the opening of the "hospital" file, which is one of the requests of the sit-in, was partially met, and that another request for the release of my son Fadıl Şenyaşar, who has been held in a solitary cell in Elazığ Prison for more than 4 years, has not been met yet. Fadıl Şenyaşar should be tried within the scope of self-defense. I want justice. My son has been held in a cell for over 4 years. My son should be released. They murdered my two sons along with their father. They wanted to kill all my children. I will not end the sit-in until my son (Fadıl Şenyaşar) comes home. If my son comes home, we will go home too.”   IF I DIE, I WILL DIE ON THE SIT-IN'   Condemning the fact that AKP member İbrahim Halil Yıldız was not included as a suspect or witness in the indictment, Şenyaşar continued: “There was Yıldız in the hospital and workplace where my children were attacked. They say the camera tapes were stolen, I don't believe it. They should give the camera footage. If my children are guilty, it should be exposed. They didn't get everything right in the workplace lawsuit, either. My children were killed unjustly and unlawfully. The cruelty done to us has not been done to anyone in the world. The sit-in will continue until my son is released. If I'm going to die, I will die on the sit-in."
