Investigation against Fincancı for her statement about Turkey's chemical attacks

	ANKARA - An investigation was launched against TTB Central Council Chair Şebnem Korur Fincancı, who was targeted by the MHP due to the statements she made about Turkey's chemical weapons attacks.

	MHP Group Deputy Chair Muhammed Levent Bülbül targeted Şebnem Korur Fincancı, President of the Central Council of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) at the General Assembly of the Parliament. Hours after MHP's Bülbül's statements, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action and launched an investigation against Fincancı.

	An investigation was launched against Fincancı on charges of "propagandizing a terrorist organization" and "insulting the Turkish nation and the State of the Republic of Turkey, state institutions and organs" on the grounds of her statements regarding the chemical weapons attacks against HPG members.
