The beating and torture that 11 journalists, who were detained within the scope of an Ankara-based investigation, were subjected to during the house raid, continues at the Ankara Police Department. Journalists detained in the Ankara Police Department reported that the police beat JINNEWS reporter Öznur Değer. Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporters Emrullah Acar and Ceylan Şahinli, who met with their lawyera, said that they are doing fine. HANDCUFFED BEHIND THE BACK Emrullah Acar, who stated that JINNEWS reporter Öznur Değer was subjected to police violence while her fingerprints were taken, described the battery of Öznur Değer as follows: “Oznur and Mehmet were sitting in the corridor while they were being taken to get their fingerprints. While Mehmet and Öznur were speaking among themselves, the police warned them not to talk. Upon Öznur's reaction, she was forced facedown on the floor in the corridor and handcuffed behind her back. The police who kicked Öznur in the leg, grabbed her by the hair while she was handcuffed behind her back, dragged her to the police car all the way through the parking lot of the security directorate.”
