Message from Fincancı: Keep fighting

	ANKARA - TTB President Şebnem Korur Fincancı sent a message from the prison where she was detained, “The differences that are thought to be insurmountable are our wealth, the solidarity you showed when we were arrested is a mirror of this”.

	 

	Şebnem Korur Fincancı, President of the Central Council of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), who was arrested on October 27 due to Turkey's scientific statements regarding chemical weapons attacks, sent a message from the Sincan Women's Closed Prison.

	 

	Fincancı's message is as follows: "Dear colleagues and friends, I did not have enough time to prepare a scientific explanation with its references, but I owe it to you. I know that you will continue to struggle to make our working conditions and environments worthy of us again: Although it makes me sad not to be with you physically, I am with you with my heart.

	 

	I needed some rest, suppose I went on vacation. As soon as I rest, I will join you to continue the fight with you. The differences that are thought to be insurmountable are our wealth, and the solidarity you showed when we were arrested was a mirror of this. We should continue without diminishing, with friendship and solidarity.”
