Rojhilat report: At least 67 people were killed

	NEWS CENTER - The Kurdistan Human Rights Organization announced that at least 775 people were detained and 67 people were killed in the cities of Rojhilat.

	 

	Protests continue in Iran and Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan) cities, which started after the murder of Jîna Emini on September 16. The Kurdistan Human Rights Organization (KMMK) has released its 55-day report on rights violations in the demonstrations in Rojhilat. In the report, it was stated that at least 775 people, 130 of whom were women, were detained during the 55-day protests, especially in Eastern Kurdistan. The report pointed out that the real number could be much higher.

	 

	DETAILS OF THE REPORT

	 

	The report included the following statements: "The systematic program of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran that destroys and massacres peoples continues. Especially after the death of Jina Emini, the suppression and murder of women by these forces, starting from Seqiz and Diwandere in Eastern Kurdistan, and continuing in Iran. It spread to all cities of Turkey. The people, especially in all cities of Eastern Kurdistan, were directly targeted by Iranian state forces. According to reports, 67 people were killed and more than 37 injured."

	 

	According to human rights organizations and opposition sources, between 300 and 550 people were killed in the protests. Tens of thousands of people were detained, thousands were arrested.
