Statement from the KCK on the Taksim attack 2022-11-15 13:14:26   NEWS CENTER - KCK made a statement regarding the bomb attack in Taksim, and said: "Our movement has nothing to do with this attack. The fact that the attack is intended to destroy our movement shows that the AKP-MHP is plotting dark plans."   The KCK made a statement regarding the bomb attack that took place in Taksim, Istanbul on 13 November, which killed 6 people. In the statement published by the Fırat News Agency (ANF), the attack was condemned and the following was stated, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of life and injuries suffered as a result of this attack."   In the statement, it was stated that the attack was a dark plot and that the "democratic future of the peoples of Turkey" was targeted with the attack. Pointing to the statement of the People's Defense Center (HSM) yesterday, the KCK said, "We, once again, state that the Kurdish Freedom Movement has nothing to do with this attack. The fascist AKP-MHP state's persistent desire to impose this attack on our movement is to hide the truth and plot its dark plans. We call on everyone, especially the democratic public, press and media circles, to make efforts to expose this attack."   'A DARK PLOT'   In the statement, which said, "Even with a very ordinary evaluation, it is not difficult to understand that this is a conspiracy of the AKP-MHP," the use of chemical weapons against HPG members in the Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna areas of the Federated Kurdistan Region was mentioned. KCK said, "It seems that the AKP-MHP alliance planned to resort to new and dark methods to change this situation and get out of the crisis it is in, and the attack in Istanbul-Taksim was the first step towards this. Once again. We call on everyone to be vigilant on this issue and to disregard the statements made by the AKP-MHP state and make efforts to reveal the truth. The AKP-MHP alliance aims to create a similar environment and process with this attack, just as it did in the October 10  massacre. It should be seen that it is a dark and despicable plan aimed at the future of Turkey and the efforts of the Kurdish people and the peoples of Turkey to live together."   'THEY ARE TRYING TO PAVE THE WAY FOR INVASION'   Referring to the allegations that the attacker came from Northern and Eastern Syria, the statement emphasized that the main purpose of these claims is to "occupy" Northern and Eastern Syria. The statement said, "This attack was carried out at a time when the AKP-MHP lost the support of the society. It is very clear that this was planned to distract attentions. Whenever they plot something like this, massacres are organised and the Kurds are blamed. This attack has such a purpose. Everyone must be sensitive and vigilant in this regard. It is deliberate that the perpetrator of the attack is portrayed as from Rojava or Syria. No matter by whom the attack is carried out, whether Kurdish or not, this attack has nothing to do with our movement, the Rojava revolutionary forces. Rojava forces have already declared that they have nothing to do with this attack. Everyone should know this fact and should not become an instrument of the AKP-MHP's dark plans. Our movement never plans or does such actions against civillians."
