Speaking to ANHA, Zirgan Council Co-chair Salih Simo stated that one third of the district where the settlements were targeted was destroyed.   SCHOOL AND BAKERY WERE BOMBED   Emphasizing that Turkey has intensified the attacks, Simo said: “Infrastructure and service centers such as schools, municipalities, the district council building and the Internal Security Forces point were targeted. The Turkish state is following a policy of evacuating Zirgan and emigration of its people, as in Serêkaniyê, Girê Spî, Afrin and other places. The bakery, which distributes bread to 20 villages in the district, stopped completely because it was bombed. Moreover, the invading Turkish state is targeting the Internal Security Forces, which protect the security of the region."   400 HOUSES WERE DESTROYED   Noting that one third of the district was destroyed by the bombing and more than 400 houses were destroyed, mostly in the West District, Simo said: "All the institutions of the district are working according to the emergency situation to help the residents of the district with the arrival of winter. There is a great determination to resist, some leave their homes during the bombardment, but return when the bombardment stops.”   Simo underlined that despite all the attacks and bombardments, their stance against Turkey and the paramilitary structures it supports is clear and will not change.
