Political prisoners asked what they think about Abdullah Öcalan for good conduct assessment

	MERSİN - In the report prepared on Aksaray Type T Closed Prison, it was stated that even the most basic rights were suspended and the Prison Administrative and Observation Board does the good conduct assessment based on questions like "Whatd o you think about Abdullah Öcalan?"

	 

	Lawyers Özgür Çağlar and İbrahim Cinbaş, members of the Prison Commission of the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) Mersin Branch, met with the prisoners in Aksaray Type T Closed Prison, which they visited on January 11. Later, the report they prepared about the violations of rights was shared with the press.

	 

	'WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT ABDULLAH ÖCALAN?'

	 

	In the report which underlines that the committee met with prisoners Merval Sungur, Metin Gelni and Rıdvan Er upon the application of their families, it was stated that 20 prisoners were being held in cells made for 10 people. It was also underlined that questions such as, "Oil was found in Mount Gabar. We won't leave it to the puppets of the US, what do you think about this?", "Why did you chose to study in Dersim University?", "What do you think about Abdullah Öcalan?" in the "good conduct" assessments and decisions were made according to the answers to these questions.

	 

	It was also underlined that the prisoners were forced to answer these questions.
