Medicines are not given to ill prisoner on time 2023-01-21 11:15:20   AĞRI - It has been stated that Abidin İnci, who is ill prisoner in Patnos Type L Closed Prison, is required to use the injection once a month, and is given every 6 months.   Pressure on prisoners continues in Patnos Type L Closed Prison. It has been stated that the prisoner named Abidin İnci, who has many diseases, is given the injection once every 6 months, which should be used once a month. According to what the imprisoned İnci conveyed through his lawyers, it was stated that he could not access his right to health despite having many chronic illnesses. It was stated that İnci, who had Chronic Mediterranean Fever Disease (COPD), had not been referred for 3-4 months despite his request for referral to the hospital, and therefore he had many problems.   İNCİ REPORTED THE VIOLATIONS IN PRISON   İnci also gave the following information about the rights violations he experienced: “When the dispatch dates came, mouth control was carried out by the soldiers on duty, the controls went beyond their purpose, and the mouth control procedure was used by the soldiers as a torture tool rather than a security measure. They demand artistic and social activities from the prison authorities, but their demands are not fulfilled arbitrarily. The number of books is limited to 6, even books with banderols are included in the ban and are arbitrarily banned. We do not receive any response regarding the petitions we sent to the Prosecutor's Office, and we suspect that the petitions they sent were not sent by the prison administration. Again, criminals are brought right next to the wards where politicians stay. This violates our right to life and impairs our mental health.”
