The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar came to the front of the courthouse from their houses in Suruç district and staged the sit-in with a banner that read "Justice".   'THEY ARE TRYING TO SHADOW OUR SIT-IN'   Stating that their only demand is for a fair trial for the perpetrators of the massacre to be tried, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "We want my brother, who has been unjustly imprisoned, to be released. Against these demands, instead of listening to the mother, the civil administrators here try to overshadow our vigil by parking the official vehicles of the state at our sit-in station.   CASE FILES WERE MERGED   On the other hand, there has been a new development in the ongoing "workplace" and "hospital" files in Malatya regarding the Şenyaşar family massacre. Fadıl Şenyaşar was sentenced to 37 years and 9 months and Enver Yıldız was sentenced to 18 years by the Malatya 3rd High Criminal Court, and the "workplace file" was overturned by the Antep Regional Court of Justice, with the Malatya 5th High Criminal Court. ongoing "hospital files" have been merged. The decision to merge, which was requested by the court of appeal and the lawyers of the Şenyaşar family, was given by the Malatya 5th High Criminal Court; thus, the files of the workplace where the massacre started and the hospital where it continued will be seen at the Malatya 3rd High Criminal Court, where the first indictment was seen. The evaluation of the prisoners in both files will be made by the same court.
