	DİYARBAKIR- Citizens, waiting for good news around the rubble of Sözel Apartment Building, said: "The search and rescue is insufficient and we continue to wait desperately."

	 

	While search and rescue efforts continue in Sözel Apartment Building, which was destroyed in the Office district of Yenişehir district of Diyarbakır in an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 in Kahramanmaraş, the citizens, who have been waiting for good news in the cold weather for 4 days, condemned the government. Citizens, who stated that the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) teams working on the rubble did not provide them with reliable information, expressed that the work of inexperienced teams was insufficient.

	 

	'THE RESCUE TEAMS ARE NOT EXPERIENCED'

	 

	Stating that his brother, his brother's wife and children were under the rubble, Izzettin Ekinci said: "We have waited for our families for 4 days. AFAD officers who came here from almost everywhere from Batman to Mardin. They are not competent and experienced. This is what happens when you put incompetent and inexperienced people there. They have never seen disaster and destruction before. If the work had been done quickly, this would not have happened. In the collapsed 9-storey building, everyone is stuck on the lower floors. If there are people living inside, they will either die of cold or starvation."
