Aid discrimination in Altınım, which destroyed 2023-02-11 16:01:06   GAZİANTEP - The earthquake survivors who survived the destruction in the Altınım Neighborhood foothills of Amanos stated that their most urgent need is tents and water, and said that the aid that arrived in the neighborhood 4 days later was distributed to those who were AKP members.   The Altınım Neighborhood, at the foothills of the Amanos Mountains of the İslahiye district, half of Gaziantep was also destroyed in the earthquake. Around 50 houses were destroyed in the neighborhood with a population of 5 thousand. While the teams came to the neighborhood late for search and rescue, the citizens who were under the rubble were brought out by those who managed to survive in the neighborhood. Neighborhood residents buried the bodies of 37 people they dug out of the rubble of 50 houses with their own means.   Neighborhood residents stay in makeshift tents made with tarpaulins. Although progress has been made at the food point in the neighborhood where the volunteers reached, the lack of tents forces the people of Altınım under the snow.   THE AID IS ONLY GIVEN TO AKP MEMBERS!   A citizen named Gökhan Mazlum Akpınar from the neighborhood said: "There is discrimination in their neighborhood and that the aid is not given to anyone other than AKP members. There are no tents. They don't give tents to non-AKP members. You'd better make our voice heard. All incoming goods go to AKP members. They don't go to anyone else. The vehicles for the rubble arrived 2 days after the earthquake. People froze to death under the rubble because they did not arrive on time."
