In the neighborhoods where hundreds of people lost their lives, almost all the houses were either destroyed or severely damaged. One of the villages where the biggest tragedy was experienced is the Kümeevler camp of Evri Neighborhood, which is about 50 kilometers away from the city center. There are around 15 houses in the neighborhood built between the mountains; however, all of these houses were destroyed after the earthquake. The stables were also destroyed.   EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS HAVE BEEN UNDER RUBBLE FOR 7-8 HOURS   While shooting the wrecks, we come across a boy who lost his father in the earthquake. O.C., who is 11 years old, is sad about the loss of his father. As he speaks, the words get stuck in his throat and he whirls around their wrecked house. O.C.said: “We are 5 siblings. I lost my father. My uncles came and saved us. 5 brothers were rescued in the same place.”   The boy takes us to the point of the corridor of life, where he escaped with his 4 siblings. Then we climb the ruined stairs of the destroyed house. O.C., pointing to the corridor of life that is wide enough for a single person to pass, said: “My sister's leg is broken. My uncles took her to the hospital. The hole was small. We are out. They enlarged the hole to remove my sister. We were under the rubble for 6-7 hours.”   Expressing that they only receive aid such as wafers and biscuits, O.C. wants a tent to put their heads in and food that can sustain their lives to be delivered to them.   MA / Abdurrahman Gök - Azad Altay
