SDF: 2 ISIS members killed

	NEWS CENTER - SDF stated that 2 ISIS members were killed in the operation they carried out in the east of Derazor.

	 

	Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Contact Center announced that 2 security operations were carried out against ISIS.

	 

	In the statement sharing information on the operations carried out against ISIS cells on February 16, the statement said: “The first operation carried out by the Anti-Terrorist Unit (YAT) with the support of the International Coalition forces was carried out against the gang leader Muhenned El Sari El Fedxem in the Sehbe district of Derazor.

	 

	This gang leader, one of the most dangerous names of ISIS, carried out many assassinations against our forces. After the region was besieged, the YAT called for surrender. When the call was answered with an attack, the gang leader was killed in the clash that broke out.

	 

	The second operation was carried out in the village of Hacin, east of Derazor. Together with the International Coalition forces, a landing was made in the region to catch the terrorist named Hemze al-Humsi, one of the ISIS mercenaries. After the area was besieged, a call for surrender was made, but the gang blew themselves up. As a result, while the gang leader died, 4 soldiers of the International Coalition were injured. Military equipment and tools such as Kalashnikovs, 3 magazines, cartridge holders and telephones were seized during the operations.
