Oral defense date of HDP postponed

	ANKARA - Constitutional Court accepted HDP's request to postpone the date of oral defense.

	 

	The Constitutional Court (AYM) postponed the date of the oral defense in the closure case of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) upon the request of the party. The Constitutional Court decided to hold the oral defense of HDP's closure case on 11 April.

	 

	HDP Law Commission Co-Spokesperson Serhat Eren stated that the Constitutional Court has not communicated the decisions to them since the beginning and said that they heard the developments through Anadolu Agency. Eren noted that since the decision has not yet been communicated, its content is unknown. Eren also said that the party has filed an appeal against the blocking decision on the accounts that received Treasury aid, but that they are waiting for the decision to be notified.
