Election date statement from YSK chairperson

	NEWS CENTER - YSK Chairperson Ahmet Yener announced that the election date has been decided as 14 May.

	Ahmet Yener, Chairperson of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), made a statement after the decree signed by AKP President Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the election date was published in the Official Gazette. Yener announced that the general parliamentary elections and the presidential elections will take place on May 14. The chairperson of the YSK announced that they have decided to hold the presidential election on May 28 in case of a second round.
