Ömer Öcalan: We should march to Amara against war policies 2023-04-03 10:20:58   URFA- Drawing attention to the march to be held in Amara tomorrow, HDP Urfa MP Ömer Öcalan said: "I invite everyone to Amara on April 4 for an honorable peace and dialogue against the policies of isolation and war."   Under the leadership of Democratic Society Congress (DTK), Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Free Women's Movement (TJA), Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), Families of Prisoners and Convicts Federation (MED TUHAD FED)saplings will be planted in many cities on the birthday occasion of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan on April 4. As the finale of the April 4 events, the Amara March will be held with the slogan "To Amara for Freedom".   The Kurdish people and their friends, who visit the Amara Neighborhood of the Xelfeti district where PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan was born, every year despite the obstacles, will march to Amara against the isolation practice this year.   Abdullah Öcalan's nephew and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Urfa MP Ömer Öcalan stated that the Amara March will take place with the demand for Abdullah Öcalan's physical freedom and called for participation.   'THE AIM OF STATE IS TO FORGET MR. ÖCALAN'   Emphasizing that the state aims to lift the ties between Kurds and PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan with its isolation policy, Öcalan said: "However, the people are following in the path of Mr. Öcalan. The people follow the ideas and thoughts of Mr. Öcalan in order to put his paradigm into practice; therefore, the state wants to make people forget Mr. Öcalan.”   'LET'S MARCH TO AMARA AGAINST ISOLATION AND WAR'   Calling for participation in the Amara March on April 4 against the policies of isolation and war, Öcalan concluded his speech as follows: "April 4 is very important for us against these policies. Let April 4 be the day the isolation is lifted. That's why we want all our people to come to Amara. The house where the leadership was born is the house of the people.
