Journalists transferred to court 2023-04-27 14:22:40   DİYARBAKIR- Journalists Abdurrahman Gök, Beritan Canözer, Mehmetşah Oruç and Mikail Barut, who were detained in the Amed-based operation, were transferred to the courthouse.   As part of an investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Diyarbakır 3rd Criminal Court of Peace issued a detention order for 216 of them, including journalists, politicians, artists and lawyers, and 128 of them were taken into custody. While the police statements continued, those who did not agree to testify at the police station were referred to the courthouse.   Journalists Abdurrahman Gök, Beritan Canözer, Mehmetşah Oruç and Mikail Barut, who refused to testify at the police station, as well as politician Hakim Kaya, Şahin Formli, and Abdulgani Alkan from the 78's Association were referred to the courthouse. While those who do not agree to testify at the police station during the day are expected to be referred to the courthouse, it has been learned that not all lawyers who are members of the Lawyers' Association for Freedom (ÖHD) testify at the police station.   2 PEOPLE RELEASED   Detained lawyers Gurbet Özbey Öner and Jiyan Sametoğlu were referred to the prosecutor's office yesterday after they were detained due to their babies in the breastfeeding period. After the prosecution statements, Gurbet Özbey Öner and Jiyan Sametoğlu, who were transferred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for judicial injunction control, were released on condition of judicial control.
