Dağ and Er been on the hunger strike for 54 days 2023-07-10 14:30:37   NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched by Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er, who are imprisoned in Hewler Prison, against rights violations, has entered its 53rd day.   Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er, who were arrested in the Federated Kurdistan Region in 2019, entered the 54th day of the hunger strike they started on May 18 against violations of rights in Hewler Prison. Dağ and Er demand an end to arbitrary searches, physical violence, insults and the imposition of uniform dress.   In a phone call with his family on June 23, Dağ stated that their health condition was bad, there was no doctor and medicine in the hospital, no one had visited them for 10 days, and that Er had lost 20 kilograms and he had lost 10 kilograms.   The families of both prisoners condemned the increasing pressure on their children and called for "protection" of their children.   ALLEGED ATTACK   Dağ and Er were arrested in the Federated Kurdistan Region on July 17, 2019 for allegedly attacking Turkish diplomat Osman Köse and Iraqi citizens Neriman Osman and Beşdar Ramazan at the Turkish Consulate General in Hewler. In the statement of the KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency published on the Fırat News Agency (ANF) on July 6, it was stated that Dağ and Er did not have a direct relationship with the attack and did not take part in the attack.
