	Soldiers attacked the nature sit-in that started for 10 days against the colliery that was wanted to be opened in Muğla Milas Akbelen Forest. Ecology activists were attacked with batons, shields and tear gas while protesting the military blockade against them. Ecology activist Tuğulka Köseoğlu was detained in the attack.

	 

	While the gendarmerie sprayed pepper spray on ecologists and journalists at close range without any warning, it was reminded that the application of pepper spray to people with COPD or other lung or respiratory diseases at close range could result in death.
