KJAR member Mehabad: The women's revolution will definitely succeed 2023-09-29 13:50:08   WAN - KJAR member Arîn Mehabad pointed out that Iran is afraid of the "jin, jiyan, azadi" idea and said, "If women's struggle and organization is continued, the women's revolution will definitely win."   In Iran and Rojhilat, the anti-regime rebellion has not subsided since September 16, 2022, when Jîna Emînî was murdered in custody. It was stated that at least 60 female activists have been arrested since the first anniversary of the actions led by the philosophy of "Jin, jiyan, azadi". The regime, which threatens women with detention, arrest and abduction, most recently kidnapped Werîşe Muradi, a member of the Eastern Kurdistan Free Women's Association (KJAR), in Sine, Rojhilat, on July 10.   KJAR member Arîn Mehabad spoke to our agency about the latest developments in the country.   'JIN, JIYAN, AZADÎ BROUGHT EVERYONE TOGETHER'   Reminding that the protests that started with the murder of Emini are still continuing in Rojhilat and Iran, Mehabad said: “The problem is not the headscarf or hijab. The focus of the actions is the public's reaction and anger against the system. This protest is not like in 1970, 'Jin, jiyan, azadi' gathered everyone together. "Women created a historical revolution with their struggle against the masculine mentality in power."   SOCIAL FREEDOM   Saying that the regime tried to break the will of the society through women from the first day, Mehabad said: “The sacrifice shown by women encouraged the whole society. Women managed to create a great revolution by embracing the entire society. Women's socialism spread throughout the country and led the revolution. This revolution transformed the fundamental problem of women's rights and freedom into a new paradigm. Currently, the dominant perspective is 'Society cannot be free unless women are free'. Because unless the issue of women's rights and freedom is resolved, no problem, crisis or conflict in society will be resolved. "So other problems of life will not be solved."   Underlining that the regime has increased its oppression against women, Mehabad said: “Iran's authoritarian and oppressive regime cannot see and accept the strong will of women. The regime uses every means to suppress women. It systematically carries out its conspiracies against women."   'THE ARCHITECT OF RESISTANCE IS ABDULLAH ÖCALAN'   Stating that the ongoing resistance in Iran and Rojhilat was influenced by the philosophy of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Mehabad said: “But the pioneer of this idea is still detained. Severe isolation has been imposed on Leader Apo for the last 24 years. This severe isolation imposed on Leader Apo is also an isolation against the will of the people and the existence of women and youth. It is clear that Leader Apo brought philosophy to the Kurdish people and made them have willpower. That's why they isolate all people in the person of Leader Apo. Every word of Rêber Apo is history, it serves the path of freedom to all humanity. The state is afraid of this. The women's and freedom revolution, which started in Kurdistan and the east of Iran with the ideas of Mr. Öcalan, resonated all over the world. The architect of the 'Jin, jiyan, azadi' philosophy started the freedom march of women guerrillas on March 8, 1998. It paved the way for women's struggle for a free life. Women began their struggle for freedom by gaining strength and will with their thoughts and philosophies. Leader Apo's physical freedom should be at the center of all our activities because Leader Apo's freedom will ensure the freedom of humanity."   MA / Berivan Kutlu
