Andıç, who lost his life, was buried in Amed 2024-01-09 09:57:51   AMED - Levent Andıç, who lost his life in the conflict in Elkê, was buried in Amed.   Levent Andıç (Têkoşer Pêncewîn), one of the HPG members who lost his life in the conflict that broke out in the Bilbês area of Elkê (Beytüşşebap) district of Şirnex (Şırnak) on July 27, 2023, was buried in Amed (Diyarbakır). The body of Andıç, who was buried in the homeless cemetery in Şirnex without waiting the result of the blood sample given by the family, was given to the family yesterday after 5 months after the blood sample matched. The body, brought from Şirnex to Amed, was buried in Yeniköy Cemetery in Rezan (Bağlar) district.   The police blockaded the cemetery even before the funeral arrived in the city and did not allow anyone except the family to attend the funeral. Family members were taken to the cemetery one by one after the General Information Screening (GBT) application. The group, including People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Amed Deputies Adalet Kaya and Ceylan Akça, waited for the family at the entrance of the cemetery until the end of the burial process.
