
Operation in Elkê countryside: Villages under blockade

	ŞIRNEX - While a military operation has been launched in Elkê countryside, it has been reported that 3 villages are under blockade.

	The region where Hemka, Pîrosa and Melesa villages of Elkê (Beytüşşebap) district of Şirnex (Şırnak) are located has been under military blockade since June 21. Soldiers have also set up checkpoints at the entrances of the villages, preventing entry and exit.

	It has also been learned that military operations have been launched in some areas in Elkê countryside and in the Colemêrg (Hakkari) countryside. It has been noted that there is military activity in the Marinos, Feraşîn, Meydan Belekê and Qaşûra regions.
